Rev Limiter before shifting
I hit the Rev Limiter going from 1st to 2nd WOT. If i let off a bit it shifts fine.
Ive seen several quiestions like this, however all contradicting answers.
My 2009 4.6 has 40,000 mi, never beat on.
I bought the SCT Tuner but that didnt change this. I changed the Rev limiter up & down a bit and it still does it.
Would the WOT setting help? From reading posts I see people saying raise it to +7 and others saying Lower it to -3. As i read if you lower it than it would not allow for as much Slack before it shifts causing over rev? Can someone help and explain this in laymonds terms?
