That rollbak g2 looks good. I avoided the canister and got the loredo. I also looked at the roll x, but didn't have the money. I have a tool box, but I think I could attack to that too.

The G2 looks nice but is the canister easily removable? It looks to me like it's fastened with screws. I have the same concern about the Retrax. I think this is a crucial feature especially for short-bed owners.

No, the canisters are not easily removable. The only retractable cover on the market that is supposed to be easily removable is the Pace Edwards Switchblade.

I just watched the installation video for the Switchblade. It looks almost as cumbersome to remove as the other retractables. Not difficult but certainly not quick release. Too bad but thanks for the link.
