I have a 05 f150 with the center seat console, does anybody know if you can take that out and replace it with the floor console. The old console lid always gets stained and i would like to have a little more space to store stuff then that cubby hole they give you. anybody know how to do it, how hard, and if possible, how difficult is it to install.

I would recommend a chain saw??????? I think should get it out. Sorry just had to say that. Good luck.

thanks, got any suggestions on what type? what teeth do you thnk would be the most effective in cutting through the everything to gte it out? what about a cutting torch, that would get through everything right?

ya the center console fits. im looking to do the samething to my truck. dont remember who but i know someone on the site has already done this to their truck.
