Default Roush Exhaust

I have a 2013 5.0 regular cab 4x4 and I'm looking at changing the exhaust. Whatever I decide on will be a full cat back system. I really like the look and sound of the Roush exhaust and wanted to see if anyone on here has used it. Good or bad please let me know what you think. Thanks

Great question, definitely something to ask before getting.

I have 2012 Screw FX4. Roush exhaust. I absolutely love it. Customized the tips to mandrel bend out original exit, as you can see in my truck photos. I also have a video of the exhaust on youtube. Would recommend it to anyone looking to increase aggressive sound, without drone in the cab. It sounds awesome when getting on it and at idle. I even paired it up with CAI Roush. Gave it an extra little umph. Couldn't be more thrilled to have the sound.

There's a few threads on here on the Roush system. I installed it on my '13 5.0 SCAB. The sound is awesome. I did have a pronounced drone in the cab between 1500 and 1900 RPM. There were complaints on the threads, but I thought, how bad could it be?....well, pretty bad.
I fixed it with a j-pipe resonator, info on here about that as well. Now it's the exhaust I wanted. Can't say if I would buy it again knowing what I know.
I can do all my own fabricating and welding, so the j-pipe turned into little fun weekend project, and I learned something new. That said, I shouldn't have had to mess with it.

Have it on my 6.2 really love it. Might get it switched out for a Stainless Works with the headers eventually but thats a maybe. I have no drone but I'm on a different motor, so take that with a grain of salt.

That's one of my main concernes. I love the sound of the roush but I don't want something that's gonna annoy me while I'm on the highway. Now mind you I don't do a lot of highway driving. Iv done like everyone else has I suppose before buying an exhaust, iv listened to countless sound clips and videos to see what I like. I'll keep yas all posted on what I decide on. Thanks for all the info everyone

A lot of people just have a shop put on your stock resonator with the roush and are happy with that. At that point though, i'd probably just get a magnaflow or some flowmasters muffler and get a shop to make you a custom one.
