I was looking at the Airaid PowerAid Throttle body spacer reviews on Autoanything, and I came across this one:
It sounds like he doesn't have that big of tires which I'm sure plays some factor. Can anyone confirm or bust this review (able to or not achieve this kind of mileage with same or similar parts installed)?

"Wow,the install was easy and the results were Amazing.I installed this Throttle Body Plate on my 05 F150 4WD 5.4L 3V between the intake and the Parabolic Tube of a K&N Series 63 Hi-Flow Aircharger.The only thing extra was to purchase 4-1 1/2"screws because the base of the Tube is less than the base of the stock Throttle Body(Which is mounted on the top end of the Tube).Along with the K&N Aircharger,I added Gibson Side Exhaust,Hyper-Tech Tuner(Set-up +200 Shifts & RPM's,31"Tires,Match Trans Shift...)and finally Steel Air Induction Hood.Obviously I was looking for Performance, MPG and Style. To my Surprise the Gas Mileage is outragiously beyond expectations. Prior to the Poweraid install the F150 was already getting 21-23mpg Combined city-highway driving.After the PowerAid Throttlebody install the mileage average has been 27-28.5 MPG.My F150 has a 355 rear gear and 4 Speed OD Trans and I'm sure that plays a part but this product put a Bunch of BOOST in an already Way-Perky Truck!NOISE', well sure when you stick your foot in it !!! Highway driving NO NOISE to speak of, except the Air rushing over the Truck.It is still hard for me to believe and I check the mileage every time I travel,Dude this Truck is a Power-Gas Mileage MONSTER!!!"
My question is, is this actually possible with these trucks? Or is this guy only driving downhill, with a tailwind, and on drugs to be getting this kind of mileage? If it were possible to get 27-28.5 MPG with $1000-$2000 in add-ons out of a 5.4L 3V...
FORD WOULD HAVE DONE IT ALREADY.
It would be called the 'stick your Prius back in the garage' option package.

Thanks for the responses guys, I am skeptical as well, which is the main reason for my post in the first place. I would like to hear actual mileages from people that have all of these mods with stock size tires to see how far this is from reality. Also, these mods would cost less than a grand if you look patiently for the deals.

This claims a 25% increase in mileage. Well worth the $30 investment. Should pay for it self pretty quickly.

But seriously, for us to bust this Mythbusters style, I need someone who has done all these mods with stock size tires (having run a tank of gas without a lead foot) to weigh in.

I highly doubt that review was written by an actualy customer. A lot of online stores will create a user profile and write incredible reviews in order to get people to buy their stuff.

I have everything he has except...I have 373 gears and a 4 speed trany...best I can get is 20mpg hwy.
