Question RBP exhaust tip

Hey All! I have a 2013 F150 FX4 w/Ecoboost. All blacked out and am considering a black RBP exhaust tip...problem is, I can't decide on size. Any thoughts/ideas/comments would be greatly appreciated! From what I've looked up, it seems that I need a 3" to 4" adapter, but then do I go 4" to 5, 6 or 8"? Do I go for 12" or 18" long? This is my first truck and I want it right......thanks for any/all advice. Pics to follow when it's done to my liking.

I have a 4" Exhaust and I bought a MBRP tip with a 4"inlet with a 5" outlet, I believe I bought the 6" length. If I was to buy a new one I would say get the 18" length so that it covers more of the stainless steel exhaust pipe. I am going to piant the stanless part black to fix that now.

I also put it on so that you cant see the exhaust pipe when you look at the tip so that's why it looks like it sticks out far, but in person it doesn't stick out that far.

Default Update to my tip

I decided to go with the 3"-4" adapter and then RBP 4"-5" X 12". Took the parts down to a local muffler shop and had the adapter welded in place and then the tip was more less locked down via the connector. When I asked the welder if he should tack the tip to the adapter, he said there was no need as this would NOT come apart.
