Default Raptor Style Grille Kit for NORMAL F150 UPDATE

For the record, anyone installing the hood cap, don't smack down on the cap to seat the clips, just press firmly, that will seat it tightly enough without causing the dimples. I made that mistake on mine, but we did it the right way on my buddies truck.

Wish someone would have told me that before. You try to use the trim removal tools to pull out on the clips to get the dimples out?

Thought about it, but I just got over it pretty quickly, might give it a try.

My girlfriend says she can't notice unless she looks for it I just see them there and cringe after the money invested. I'm too afraid to try prying on it because I broke off one of the brackets on my old grille.

So I was walking up to my truck the other day and my girlfriend said "did something dent your truck?"...I look at the top of the hood cap and sure enough theres a pretty noticable dent on the top left side. The whole tops always looked a little wavy from certain angles but I definitely didn't notice this when I installed it. At this point I guess i'll have to just accept it since i've already had paint protection film put over it and i'm not investing anymore money into a grille, but i'm kind of amazed, as well as disappointed that a plastic piece would dent like this.

It's not as noticeable straight on but from the side it's like a door ding on my cap

It's not surprising, if you slap it with your hand on a very tight fitting clip, if you push further than intended, of course it's going to flex a bit. Just ignore it, you'll stop noticing it really quickly.

Someone try prying it out to see if it works. I wanna hear results before I try lol. I think the cap could be a little thicker especially for the price though.

Hey Guys. Sorry for the delayed responses here! I have been swamped with a bunch of new metal grilles bringing them to market I kind of left the forum for a bit. Also bringing my own line of some powerful Headlight Bulb kits and off road LED Lights

So thanks for the feedback on the things you guys have been seeing in the field. Only way to improve is to find these things and fix them. I'm going to be looking into how to resolve some of these issue that have come up. if anyone has any concern feel free to message me direct.
