Travelrider, mine is the same way. I am going to check to see if I tightened the bolts down too much, but I distinctly remember being aware of that (i.e. not torquing them down excessively) when I was installing...

My grill cap is about 1/2 inch higher than the fender on the bottom outer edges. Is there a way to make the cap math the fender height. The body shop that painted and installed the grill said he would have to modify the grill frame to lower the edge.
Mine also have the dents in the hood cap. About 3 of them where the screws go. I losend the screws completely and still no change. Also if you look close at my "f" and my "D" you can see dents where the screw mounts are on the back. Other than the dents the fit is perfect and the lights are bright. My kit was missing the screws but they were shipped out the same day I notified them they were missing. The customer service is outstanding.
