Well now, that's different! Looks pretty good!
I ordered some F150 Platinum Limited fender badges yesterday, they look just like our tailgate badge, only for the fenders. I plan on dipping the chrome part black, prime the black part light gray, or maybe white, then paint the letters/numbers with my body colour again. Hopefully the red will turn out the correct shade this time around.

The letters/numbers will push out of the chrome surround once you remove them from the truck.

I plastidipped my emblems and badges and they're holding up well and I love it I did the same to my Mustang and it lasted for over a year until I sold the car but I agree I would not do your running boards it's in the way of the debrie and constantly going to get wear and tear I just took my off and sold them on Craigslist

Where did you guys buy the plastidip from? any good deals currently out there? Does the platidip come in a spray can?

Someone suggested to spay a clear coat at the end, is that also a plastidip clear coat? or does it have a different name?

Thanks

I just took my time and used a razor blade and trimmed along as close as possible! I actually intended on doing the inside red and keeping the outside chrome, but I thought it turned out ok. Only to go to work the next day and it fall off on the way to work...FML
