Thanks to those who offered insightful comments to my thread "Exhaust System or Performance Muffler". You guys have me convinced that a catback is in my future.

I have come across an extra few hundred bucks and wanted your thoughts on whether the next mod should be the catback exhaust system or the programmer. Knowing the programmer is the most bang for my buck I have also heard it is most complimentary after installing the CAI and exhaust. So, what's the best move - exhaust or programmer?

Honestly I would go with the tuner first.

With intake & exhaust you unlock the performance door. Than you open it with the tuner. Go with the exaust. When I get the $$$ tuner is next. I have an 08 5.4 I installed Banks intake and exhaust made a large improvement. I'm sold on banks products. Bought from the factory and saved..... 888-839-2700, ext. 4131
