So yesterday i was playing around on the 93 performance/ Race tune from MPT and on the first 0-60 pull i pulled a 5.64 0-60 in 2wd with some traction probelms haha and in 4wd i high i boost laucnhed and pulled a 5.51 0-60mph .... After that i was done it kind of had me shaky to realize how damn fast it was and plus i didnt want my luck to run out with my fellow POPO brothers haha Gonna Data log 93 Octane tommo ill let you know what it looks like and ill probaly send it back to MPT just so they can look at it and tweak if need be. I wonder if you can do better. I have a 5.0 and seen some 5.0 times in 5.6 range with SSI.

How long are you guys waiting before installing the tune? I am wary of doing anything before warranty is out, but I'm itching to do it. Gotta pay to play, so apprehensive...

I waited until 7k and two oil changes no scientific reason just didnt want to tune a motor that wasnt broken in a little bit.... I have seen guys on this forum and else where do it under a thousand miles with no probelms..... If your truly worried about the warranty dont tune it, but there are many threads on that!!! In the us we have magnuson- moss act that protects us some..... I will say alot of guys tune there trucks and just drive them around a couple hundred miles on the stock tune before retuning to the dealer for warranty work. Some also say too unhook the battery for a while and turn the headlights on to drain residual power out of the ecm it suppose to delete the memory.

It is all about you being happy - let me start by saying that!

However, 5.51 is pretty slow for a 93 perf tune. Perhaps data logging and further customization will help. Good luck.

i am actually running the MPT tune right now (93 performance/street shift) and it works great except for one thing. I feel like its real sluggish once you get into the 4th gear and up range. the motor feels like someone hooked up a 10,000 boat behind the truck.
I have the 5.0 engine not the ecoboost.
I also have the 5star tune and both of them seem to do the same thing.
