Default MBRP exhaust for a 5.0

I was thinking about buying and installing the MBRP Black Series cat back exhaust system, and wanted to see if anyone here has an MBRP system as well as if they liked it or not.

I've been looking at that same exhaust for my 5.0. I'm curious as to how it compares to other options as well.

Did you end up going with this exhaust? I'm looking at it now.

No, haven't picked up an exhaust yet. Still trying to hear some more in person to get a better idea of what I want. I may end up just picking up an aluminized MBRP since it's much cheaper to see if I like the sound, then go from there. Unless I come across a killer deal, I probably won't be buying anything until Spring time.

I installed the mbrp single on my 2013 5.0, there is some drown in the cab with this exhaust, if you like a loud exhaust you will like this one, I also have a custom tuned sct tuner and throttle spacer. the combo makes good power gains and it is hard to keep your foot out of the throttle. fuel ecomony average is 15.9 city, 17.2 hwy (75 mph) 93 power tune.

I agree. It definitely is louder, but the performance gains are substantial. I get about 1 mpg higher with my 87 octane performance/tow tune.

I have the mbrp lightning style side exhaust. I love it. My take on the system is, It's loud has a little drone in the lower rpms under acceleration.
It can be heard inside the cab but you can carry a normal conversation without raising your voice and listen to the radio at a normal volume.
This exhaust is for the type who rather listen to the exhaust note rather than the radio.
15 5.0 screw
Hope this helps.
