Livernois 2.7 tune opinion
Hey guys, got rid of my 5.0 truck and picked up a 2016 supercab 2wd, 2.7 with a 3:73 e-locker. Pretty bare bones minus having the sport appearance package. Rubber floors, manual vinyl seats, etc. Anyway, I got up with Livernois about tuning and they hooked me up. Sent me 5 tunes, basically a performance and tow for 87 and 93 octane, as well as a new stock tune (whatever the hell that is). The 87 performance tune isn't anything earth shattering, but it is noticeable. I was able to squeeze some 5.5-5.7 second 0-60s out of that. Their 93 tune is crazy. Shifts at 6500 rpm and pulls hard. Depending on where you start the timer, it pulled 4.8 to 5 seconds flat to 60. Launches are super easy since there's turbo lag. Trying to punch it from 10-15 mph causes a downshift, higher RPMs shock the tires and it will spin pretty bad. But from a dead stop just flat foot it and she stays hooked up. I did the VTA mod to just for sound. Headed to the track Friday to see if it'll run 13s or not. I'll report back with those results. But so far I give Livernois a big thumbs up on tuning.

Glad to put the word out on some excellent tuning, Livernois! I appreciate you guys looking out for me. I'll definitely post back with some track results. Shouldn't be too hard to get some consistent ETs out of it since its a stomp and go type of situation, not too hard to 60' in other words.
Have you guys track tested a tuned 2.7 yet?

That seems extremely optimistic. Your vid timed right at 6 sec.

I ran a stop watch from the time the speedometer needle moved to the time it touched 60. But it's tough to get it perfect since everyone's perception is different. You maybe correct though, it could be 6 sec. The track tomorrow should tell us for sure.
That's right around a 5.2 second 0-60 sprint using a Wallace 1/8th mile estimate. Temps were around 85 degrees and I'm new to the truck so I'd imagine it should run well into the 13s later this fall and with more practice
