Seeking Softopper experience - sun exposure
I've found a deal on a barely-used Softopper and my biggest question is about how the canvas will hold up against the Florida sun in the long-term. I'm sure there are UV treatments I could use to improve its longevity, but if anyone could provide their experience I'd really appreciate it.

Can't comment on Florida specifically but I had one for about 3 years on my old truck and it pretty much still looked new when I sold the truck 6mo ago. Mine was watertight from
the factory and I spent quite a few nights sleeping in the bed of the truck in heavy rain without getting wet. One tip is to store the clear vinyl flaps for the front and rear laid flat or else they will crack over time. They will fit behind the seat on your truck NP.
