Default Lift Kit and tire size dilemma on 2015

I guess I'm not in a huge hurry, but would like to pick a lift and tire setup fairly soon, as I want to get this thing dialed in! Will be going with a leveling kit.

I have the BFG KO2s on another vehicle, and really like them for my use. Only problem is that, with my 18" OEM wheels, I really only have two choices...either the 285/70/18s (34.8"/11.2") or all the way down to 305/65/18 (33.6"/12).

I feel like the 33.6" diameter is the safer, more conservative option...pushing the envelope of what will "fit" a little less. Anybody care to speculate if the 33.6"/12" would have worse MPG due to being wider, or would that likely be a wash? And as far as looks, hopefully they wouldn't look odd on OEMs being a little wider.

Otherwise, I like the 34.8" diameter wheels, but they one person on this forum who has them said they rub slightly on full lock, so if I go this route, I may need to be prepared to up the ante on the suspension system...coilovers with UCA arms and all.

Default Rubbing

And I'm assuming the 305/65/18 would have less likelihood of rubbing, but given they are .8" wider, that might not be the case, I don't know.

275/65/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers. 34" tire is about all you can do without any rubbing whatsoever nor cutting required.

I know these fit perfectly with a 2" leveling kit as it is what I have on my truck now.

Going to a 6" lift as I like the "look" of it a little more. Not that she doesn't look good now, just want a little more height.

I know this is late but I hope it helps.
