Just purchased a 2" front kit, going to have installed this week. My 2016 FX4 sits 3" lower in front when measured from level ground to bottom of fender well. So, I am hoping that 1" rake that's left wont be too much. I am concerned about two things 1) Is it worth the cost to just take out 2" or should I do 2.5" & 2) If I don't leave enough rake front end will nose up when I tow and I do tow trailers from time to time. Anybody else out there have that much rake on a new F-150. Seems like I haven't seen that much rake on any post.

Default Leveling Kit Installed - Knocking Sound

Recently installed a leveling kit on my 2010 F150 and now have a knocking sound when I hit bigger potholes and bumps (not all the time though, seems to pick and choose when it wants to do it) coming from the passenger front wheel. Took it to get aligned and let them know of the problem, which they heard it too after a test drive but they couldn't figure it out either. They said everything was tight and looked good.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Probably the upper control arm smacking the springs.

Default Suggestions please

What do you all think about a 2" leveling kit for my truck? What would be your suggestions on leveling this and what type of leveling kit?

It would look nice, how do you use the truck?

Mostly highway driving. I have a small 14' lightweight trailer I pull a few times a year.

Budget? You'd be fine getting away with some spacers, will ride the same. If you want to make the ride better, the boss coilovers are pretty sweet but a bit more expensive.

2016 F-150 FX4 Screw - Just had a 2" MOTOFAB Kit installed yesterday. The stance of my truck looked just like yours. I had 3" of rake in front. I now have 1" rake but when looking at it you would say it was perfectly level. Love it. I can even tell the extra height when looking down the hood from the cockpit. Going Saturday to get alignment. It definitely needs it cause the steering wheel is now several degrees off center. Ride feels exactly the same....smooth.
Motofab $60 Amazon
Install by local shop $130
