Default Lean code after Air intake

Hi everyone,
I installed a cold air intake on my 2006 f-150 with a 5.4 and I got a lean code, I have been clearing it out over and over but it keeps coming back. Does anyone make tuning software, or an adjustable fuel regulator? Maybe even larger injectors? Any help would be appreciated thanks

an adjustable regulator and bigger injectors are not needed. They will just skew the A/F curve to the rich side instead of producing a stoichiometric mixture. you need a tune, particularly from an Xcal2 from VMPTuning or Troyer Performance.

On all the new Ford vehicles any changes made to the airflow require a tune. The air mass meter is freaking out with the extra airflow. Get an SCT tuner custom tuned to your truck and you will be fine.

Actually NGM's post was why I was asking, It seemed reading the post that I had to HAVE the tuning done, I am researching the items you mentioned to tune and flash myself. Thank you

Both of these site will do a good tune for your f150 using SCT Xcal2 that will fix your lean condition.

VMPtuning.com

Bamachips.com

I have used both shops to tune my mustang and plan on them for my 2007 SXT 4.6l ..and they are really good tunes...

The code used to come back in a few days, it has been almost three weeks now since disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cable....This is the only mod on the truck, so I will skip the tuning until I do some more mods, but thank you all for your replies.....
