Default LCD screen mount for camera

Has anyone mounted a LCD screen in the little sunglass holder compartment above the rearview mirror?
I would like to put a front camera on my truck and I was thinking about mountain a small LCD screen in this little compartment.

I don't have any specific info on this but I have seen it done. I believe it was somewhere in the "Under $50 Mods" thread. Good luck finding it.

I just did that for my backup Camera last weekend, it didn't take long, and works great. I tied into my mirror for switched power. I just used Velcro command strips, it holds it in place nicely for me.

What year is truck? Which wire did you use to get 12v from?
I probed all 5 of my mirror wires and none were 12v

The green and purple wire should be your 12 volt switched wire. I got that info from Invisicord's website.

I forgot to post, I have a 2012 SCAB XLT. Invisicord's website does have other years/models listed if they have different wiring.
