Interior LED power sources??
I am planning on adding LED strip lights to the interior of my '15 F150 and the wife's '15 Taurus. Does anyone know if there is a power source (i.e. fuse or switch) I can tie in to make them go on and off with the dome lights? The goal is to have them linked to when the doors open and the dome light comes on... I want to figure out mine first before I attack the Taurus. Any info is appreciated.

I have been looking at previous threads and noticed from 2009 - 20014 wire schematics changed year to year. I opened up the kick panels from both sides (driver and passenger) and started chasing wires till I found the correct one. It was a 22 or 24 gauge solid purple on the drivers side kick panel in the door jamb. Dome light controlled. They also go on with cargo/bed lights. I only installed 2 of the LED strips under the driver and passenger dash for now. I'm going to see if effects the BCM before I start to add more to the circuit. I put in a terminal block and mounted it under the steering column panel, that is where I grounded it as well. So all the new wires will be run to the terminal block.
