It was very easy. I am no master mechanic and it took 45mins. Mind you there was a relay in the way i mine cause of the size of the air box and ford moved it on my model, but other than that. Cake...

You don't have the destructions that came with the AFE? They were vague, but doable.

For the MAF sensor, how do you remove it from the airbox? It seems to be screwed down?

I have the 4.6L V8

What year? There seem to be two different ones for the 4.6.

There is this one.

http://www.afeproducts.com/is/54-11122.pdf ir says is for the 06-07.

And then antother one for the 07.5

The link doesn't work though. Try googling the model
54-11402
Ford F-150 07.5 V8-4.6L
Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System Type Cx

if this is the one you have.

The MAF is held in by two hex head screws. At least on the 5.4 it is but I do not think it is any different by looking at where it goes your CAI.

hex screws? Thanks for that bit. I'll have to find a tool for that...

To clarify it's a 2006 4.6L V8 and that link above was the instructions they sent in the box.

Thanks for the help.
