Default How to make exhaust quiet yet LOUD???

I thinking of adding a si/do exhaust with 5" tips coming out behind the rear wheels but I cant figure out a way to make the exhaust quiet yet loud when I want it to be. I have thought about runing the tubing, coming from the muffler, all the way threw the tip, which will give me a very quiet tone. But, I am now stuck on figuring a way to make the truck loud when I want it too be, if this is even possible.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Alright guys im going in tmrw to get my exhaust done. I going to have true duals with magnaflow mufflers, not sure on which ones yet tho, and then 4" or 5" tips.

Anyone one have any other setups or ideas that would be sick?

Its going to be tmrw before they can do it.

Final Setup:
-Si/Do with 3"/2.25" tubing
-3.5" Tips with the tubing running partially threw them.
-18" Magnaflow

He said that it was basically impossible for the tips to angle down as much as I wanted b/c the newer trucks have leaf springs and other items in the way, unlike the older model trucks.

He also said that 4" tips would be much louder than I wanted, since I want it fairly quiet and that a True dual wouldn't create as much torque but would have more HP than a Si/Do, so I went with a Si/Do.

EDIT: Scratch That ^, im not real confident in this shop so Im going to do some more looking around.
