i looked to see if i could find someone running hooker mufflers on a 97/newer ford truck and couldn't find anything. is anyone running these and how do you like the sound? i'm seriously considering these for my truck.

well it came today! part #21506HKR 3" inlet 3" outlet. i'm going to run single exhaust out in the stock location but upsize to 3" pipe after the two headpipes merge. Got an exhaust shop that will do this for $100 pipe and installation if i provide the muffler. not a bad deal...will post a sound clip next week after the install.

sounds like a pretty good deal. same setup, different muffler, that i wanna run as well on my 5.0.

well so far it's exactly what i wanted! i had it done up yesterday and did some driving last night after work. it's not very loud unless you're really on it and i love the tone i've got now, it's just a real deep powerful tone. as soon as i can find someone who can take video for me i'll youtube it and post the link.

I use duct tape to muffle hookers before I throw them in the trunk.
