Default High Performance Exhaust

I just had the Xcelerator 3" single in and 3"double out installed. This exhaust is made by Goerlich. If you are looking for a quality exhaust that offers a nice mellow deep tone..this is very nice. The 'lifetime warrenty is an added bonus too..easy to install very little cabin noise just a pretty purr..with added horse power to boot..I also have the insulated mantrel coming out the back. The performance of this truck was like 'night and day' after the exhaust went on.

What did you find out about the resonator? Did you leave it or remove it? Is it loud at ideal? Oh, by the way.

Post some when you can

i'll try and take some pic's tomarrow. There is no resonator- but there is a catalytic converter.
No Its not loud at the idle. Just a nice deep tone. I'll also try and do a short sound clip at the idle...

okey..no laughing at the rust !....
It's not new but this truck means the world to me..its mine and I've been doing a lot of work on it myself. My husband says I look like a little boy with my first truck..just sitting in it..waiting until I can get insurance..lol

I bought this to pull my horse trailer and we have only put 600km on it in 2 years..it has a lot of glitches..still does but getting better. The motor has 365+ on it so I dont want to push my luck too far and have plans to rebuild the 351 this fall..making performance adjustments..maybe add some ponies things like that.

Heres the exhaust clip. I like it but maybe its just the 'kid' in me !! lol

I like the way your truck sounds and looks. I wish my truck sounded like that.

Thanks ... ...I finally got to go for a drive earlier. It sounds really nice. Apparently there is a break in period and it might change within the next few months..I might have a regret though with the pipes as they are coming straight out the back..they might echo off the front of the trailer.
