Default header questions

I have a 05 xlt with the 5.4L. I am looking for a set of long tube headers. I want quality but best bang for the buck. I'm looking at the pacesetter lts and the OBX lts. I can't afford a $800 set of headers. I dont need them ceramic coated. Painted will do just fine, i'll coat them myself if I'm unhappy with the paint. I have some questions I'm hoping ya'll could help me with.

I was looking for OBX headers and all the vendors seemed a little sketchy to me. has anybody had good or bad experience with them?

The pacesetter's look cheaper but I have to buy the y pipe seperate, correct?

Will i need to put a cat somewhere else in the system?

How will this affect emissions? I'm in Maryland.

How difficult is the install, will they slide in from underneath or do I have to lift the engine?

Will they clear the transfer case and front axle?

Thanks.

I have paces on my 10 fx2. Plan on buying after market cats and a tuner to turn off the down stream o2 sensor. With muffler and install cost me over 1k more than I expected should have just gone with the full dynamax system. But my truck sounds bad *** !!!!
