Default ford logo/emblem

Looking for some advice with 2013 fx4.....have the appearance package.....have customized the dash board a bit (removed silver a/c vents and painted the oval rings red, with louvers in black). Also, embroidered headrests with fx4 logo. Thinking of blacking out the ford emblems on front and rear tailgate. Any idea if the emblem overlays are any good? Any other options for the emblems (want to keep the red and black theme going)? Thanks in advance, appreciate any comments.

Good looking interior! I'm thinking of taking off all the silver trim in mine and painting it just wasn't sure how the black on black would look but I like it a lot.

Thanks......tried all black on the dash and wasn't too happy with it, so did the ring on the vent in red to break it up, and match the red piping on seats.

Your truck looks great!

I'm wanting to do the same thing to mine, I just haven't figured out a way to remove them to paint.

I picked up some emblem overlays for my rear, front and steering wheel. They are black with red writing to match the f150 red badging. It looks great. Adds another element. Definitely worth trying if you're looking around. It cost $26.00 shipped to my door. Comes from Vancouver BC.

it's pretty simple to remove the dash vents, just spin them around a bit and pull them out towards you. (open the louvers and grab behind them to pull out).

I need to do that. I hate the chrome trim they put on those. What did you use for the paint?

Krylon dual paint and primer in red (must be Plastic paint).....non plastic paint won't adhere. Autozone and pepboys carry it.
