the true dual is cool.... I like it and it looks good under the truck... if you are thinking about it, then you wont be happy if you do a single... just do the duals

you could put a normal cat back in or just put cutouts after the manifolds so you have volume on demand

I've got an '08 FX2 Sport that I just bought all of the parts to do the true dual Super 44s. Will be having it installed this week and post pics and vids of sound in/out of cab.

I have true dual 44s on my truck. I love it. Very deep sound and NO drone to speak of in the truck. The thing that i did different from most others was to take the tubes over the rear end and have them angled towards the ground more. The tubes are shorter than normal so that the tips are almost hidden from view unless you get low to see them. At highway speed you hardly notice the sound in the cab. On acceleration it sounds deep as hell.

So I went into the shop today and they convinced me to run a single in/dual out setup. He said that the performance gain won't be any different and I'm saving about $150 in parts/labor. I'm pretty convinced and I plan on returning the two SI/SO for a SI/DO Super 44. Somebody give me their two cents?
