Default EZ down tailgate assist
I am wondering if anyone has installed a EZ down tailgate assist on 2013 Ford 150 and if so did it affect the tailgate lifting up? Looking to purchase one and had concerns. Thanks

Mine just arrived. The only thing I've read is the nutsert can be a pain in the ***. I'll probably install it tomorrow or Thursday.

I loved mine...then it broke(the piston seal blew out). It worked flawlessly for about two years, I haven't gotten around to getting a replacement.

Nest upgrade hands down. Saved my wife's face from having the tailgate slam on her when opening. The close of the tailgate is not affected

Just installed mine yesterday and there is no issue with the tailgate closing. Makes it nice to just unlatch it and let it "fall" down now without worrying about it slamming someone or something accidentally. 2nd best mod I've done so far on my truck.

Installed mine today. The nursert was indeed a pain in the *** but after that step everything went well. It works as expected. Great, cheap and easy mod.
