I have an opportunity to purchase an exhaust system pretty cheap. The issue is it came off of a 5.4; and mine is 4.6. Can anyone add tell me if these exhaust systems are compatible

It depends what exhaust is it? It more than likely would work fine.

Should be compatible. I know on the 09-10 5.4 and 4.6, the exhausts were exactly the same.

Yeah to my knowledge that fits both systems, you should be good to go! You can always ask flowmaster customer service, but i'm nearly positive it'll be good to go as long as all the hangers are at the same spots.
