After listening to a 5.0 V-8 with Flowmaster, Borla, Corsa and Magnaflow I decided to just keep the resonator and run a Muffler delete. I am impressed with this sound over the others. Less weight; ideal sound; and only cost 50.00. The muffler delete option should be added to the poll as a choice.

Default Magnaflow Catalytic converters ?

Hey I'm a new member and would like to ask my first question.

I have a 2005 5.4 i installed the Magnaflow cat-back exhaust a few years back.
I think some of the sound is lost from the stock converters.

Magna flow converters as advertised say they allow more exhaust flow, So if thats so, Would that mean it will increase the sound too ?

A tech told me probably not. But i have to think more flow through the muffler would = more sound ?

If not, What could i do to get more good sounding exhaust and still pass emissions ???

Thanks, Paul

Default 2013 f150

Hello everyone! after a long search for a exhaust system
I bought the solo MACH-X Dual I was going to buy the Roush but
herd some things about the quality of the pipes they use. I used to work at Roush, that's another reason I was going to buy it. So I came across the Solo from stage 3 motorsports, the guys there also helped with my questions
It shipped today and should be here in a few day!! I'm excited.
I'll let you know how it works out.. I also bought a cold air intake from them
made by AFE but thats for a different forum lol

Ty,

When you say straight pipes, Do you mean you did away with the muffler and just using the resonators and cats ?

Thanks, Paul
