Default MBRP Cat Back XP Series Exhaust System

Just installed mine a few weeks ago. Loving it so much. Definitely noticing a difference.
I posted this video a few days ago of the sound of the exhaust.

Do you have a resonator on that Corsa? Sounds like it, I prefer it off but I have the Corsa Xtreme on my Mustang.

This is my Corsa exhaust with the resonator delete aka the xtreme set up. I had to go back to the resonator cause it was waking my 2yo when I leave for work in the am haha

Have you noticed any improvement in the mpg or power with the 4" Hearthrob?

Default 2013 F150 5.0L with Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow

Just a short clip to let you hear the Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow on my 2013 F150 5.0. Yes, I know my video skills need some work. I had a local muffler ship just swap out the mufflers. Stock pipes are still there.

Love the sound under med to hard acceleration, but working on getting used to a drone at low acceleration. Around town at low speeds I could get used to, but I can also hear it cruising on the interstate when the truck works a little harder (slight hill, easy passing situation, etc). Planning on having the muffler shop switch to the Flowmaster recommended 50 Series this week (the Super 50) to see if it does any better.

Also playing with the idea of having them create a 3" straight pipe to simulate the Flowmaster Catback system and see how that sounds. I'm pretty sure the stock exit pipe is already 3" mandrel bent pipe, so with the straight pipe up front, and resonator gone, it should match FM's catback, right?

The only other current mod is an increased inlet pipe on the airbox, courtesy of an S&B Cold Air Intake system let me hear a little too much of the breathing process. I've returned the original airbox, filter and intake pipe, but decided to leave the bigger inlet for an increased air supply.

Take care,
Tom

Default 2013 F150 5.0 with FlowMaster Super 50 and no resonator

I think I've finally found the sound I like. I originally has the FM Delta Flow 50 series, 2.5" SISO, with the stock pipes, including the resonator. While the exterior sound was great, the interior noise was too loud.

I then changed to the FM Super 50 muffler, 3" SISO, (formerly known as the "50 SUV"), and on a whim, decided to also delete the resonator, and replace it with a 3" straight pipe. So I've basically created a cat-back, although it's not mandrel bent like what you'd buy from FM. It's definitely louder, and I believe a bit deeper, but IMO that's probably more due to the resonator delete and new 3" front pipe than the muffler. The Super 50 differs from the 50 Series Delta Flow only in dimensions. It is 5" thick, instead of 4, 10" wide, instead of 9.75", but the same length (17").

My butt dyno thinks it drives better. Seems like I can go lighter on the gas pedal than normal and maintain speed, climb hills, etc. Of course, the "get up and go" seems to have improved also when I get on it. It has a great sound when I want it to, and so far is also quiet when I drive normally. Granted this may be because I'm wanting everything to improve, but that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Here's the latest video with the sound.

I'll post a video later but for now you'll just have to believe me. I installed the Borla ATAK dual rear in my '16 XLT Sport/Tow and I love it. Cruising around town or on the highway it has a low growl that is not to loud. You can still have a conversation at normal voice tone. If you get on it, it releases the Beast and causes heads to turn. Install was plug and play and too only 1 1/2 hr. I am a happy camper
