Exhaust

I am thinking of installing a Magnaflow catback on my F150. The wife needs to be happy with the sound not being too loud and it seems this is the system to go with. My question is what is the approximate total cost to have a single exhaust catback Magnaflow installed on a 5.4?
You can expect the cost of installation to be about 1 hour of labor at an exhaust shop.

2015 Sport package XLT 4x4, 5.0. 6.5 box. Bought the Flowmaster Outlaw Package for my truck. Had the best suited sound for me from all the online video's that I had watched. Once installed I had fun with it for a couple of days but due to the drone, had it removed. Super aggressive sound, which is exactly as advertised. My bad. I've had other f150 with Flowmaster exhausts but this one was a little over the top. Just my 2-Cents.

I just installed Corsa Sport on my 2015 xlt sport 5.0 and it sounds awesome!! No drone at all, super quiet when cruising. (Almost too quiet) I ordered the resonator delete to see how much louder that makes it. Still will have no drone.

I have the Roush system that I purchased through Brenspeed, I love it. It does have a small amount of drone on the highway, but it doesn't bother me. I have a 2013 Mustang GT with a Roush blower, headers, off road X, and competition Magnaflows so a little sound doesn't get under my skin.
Have heard a few of the catbacks on the 5.0 trucks and mine is my favorite by far.

Whats a good exhaust?
Hey guys im in the process of looking for a cat back dual exhaust for my 2010 ford f150 4.6L v8
I have 2 quotes so far but dont know what exhaust is better or any other opinions?
1st quote was $904 tax in and they would install a solo performance dual exhaust.
2nd quote $650-700 plus tax for a dual flowmaster exhaust.
Now out of these 2 which one is better or if anyone has some other recommendations?

Loss of low end torque after muffler install
Hi folks,
2013 F150 5.0L
Trying to save some money, and thinking that the Ford pipes were good enough, I recently, as in today, installed a Flowmaster 50 series muffler . In just the first few drives it seems I've notably lost low end torque, but once it gets moving it seems to take off. It also revs much higher than it used to before shifting gears. Is this to be expected based on my choices, and will it change any as the truck adapters to the new config?
My goal is a nice growl during moderate to hard acceleration, but otherwise a quiet ride.
Thanks
Tom

I am starting this thread to get everyone who has one to post up their Exhaust preference and why. I will keep tabs on it and keep results in this post for quick reference. Give year and engine in your post. I am looking for personal expierence not what someone has heard about a certain Exhaust. Please keep your posts limited to Exhaust talk.
