2.5" True dual exhaust straight off the cats out to 12" cherry bomb glass packs, that then reduces to 2" (thanks previous owner) out the back. No drone, and can easily hold conversations in the truck on the highway.
Sound clip: http://vid1337.photobucket.com/album...ps7x3z4rdt.mp4
The popping is only at startup, it stops when the truck gets warmer.

Sorry you don't believe me but it's the truth. I've had mufflers on my other car that were annoying and had them removed. Truth be told if I have the music up loud enough I can't hear them at all. I removed the muffler and replaced it with the super 44 and dual pipes to the back of the truck. The 40 is louder than the 44 as well. I have had them both. The outlaw series is the loudest series that Flowmaster makes. That probably why the drone was so bad.

Hope this helps,

Jw

And here's the clip in the event you didn't see it.

It's cool you like loud, so do I... but I need to be able to use my phone, hold a conversation, etc... so I had to go with a lower noise level muffler.

Good luck to you.

Sh*t, mine is. The shop I went to did a terrible mounting job. I need to get it into an actual exhaust shop and have them do it properly.

Honestly that doesn't seem that loud. What was on my truck previously some people have said looked like a super 10 knockoff. It was fairly quiet and didn't drone. I've never had an issue holding a conversation in my truck on the highway at 75-85mph with that exhaust, or my current setup with mud tires. Overdrive kicks in and drops my rpms to like 1200 at 85.

It's the bass that's super loud. No computer clip can adequately reproduce it without a decent subwoofer and you being in a very small insulated room.

Yeah, that could help. I had mine installed at an exhaust shop and could not be happier.

On a side note.... I see you have the SCT tuner. I am having issues with throttle response. Is it worth it?

Thanks,

Maybe my definition of loud is different then. Lol. Here's inside my truck, windows down accelerating. http://s1337.photobucket.com/user/ta...lifyp.mp4.html
