We have a quick video for the EB guys. This is catback #19052 for anyone wondering how it sounds. Let us know what you think!

Sounds like a bag of rice ran into a MMA fighter, lol. It's good, pretty good for a V6 engine.

Thanks for all of the ideas guys! I have decided to go with the Flowmaster Super 44 one in 2 out. Getting it installed on friday. Think I will bring pipes out behind tires and turn them down like a chevelle.

Thanks again!

FYI the 40 Super has a deep DRONE sound when you are around 60mph, 1800rpm...

I'm thinking of replacing the muffler with the regular 40 now.

Both the Super 40 Series and Original 40 Series are some of the most aggressive mufflers that Flowmaster produces. If you're trying to achieve the Flowmaster sound at a lower volume, we do offer a Force II Cat-back (#817727) for 15-16 Ford F-150s. The Force II Cat-back features a 70 Series muffler which will give you a nice exterior tone with minimal interior volume or resonance. Flowmaster also offers a number of universal mufflers at varying levels of aggressiveness for everybody’s tastes.

If anybody would like help deciding on which Flowmaster exhaust system or muffler is right for their truck and their personal sound preferences, give us a call at 707-544-4761.

Mike, you guys need to come out with a dual exhaust kit for the F-150 using the 70 series muffler or the 50... thats more in line with what we'd like. A nice mixture in the middle and dual tips.

50
I agree, if you make it a turn key kit it would be Much easier. The 50's are nice (three chamber?) but the two Chamber 40's are Sweet. Way more aggressive.

Yeah I think if they had 4 options that would be awesome

Option 1: Single output 70 series (Force II)
Option 2: Dual output 50 Series
Option 3: Dual output Super 40 (aka, American Thunder)
Option 4: Dual output (not sure which muffler) - The Outlaw

I thikn the Option 2 might become the better selling kit, puts you right in the middle of that aggressive sound and the quieter sound.

Based on the reviews I read, people who bought the American Thunder kit and swapped out the muffler for the 50 series, were very happy with results.

Soo anybody want to buy my Super 40

Thanks for the feedback. After you mentioned that you really wanted a dual exit kit at a lower sound level, I went ahead and started a thread titled: "Where do you like your exhaust tips to exit?", complete with a poll. Hopefully we can get some feedback from other forum members, as well, that could lead to us offer different configuration options in the future.

Too bad Bassani doesn't make an exhaust for the 15/16's. I got numerous positive comments with one of their exhausts on my 99 Cobra.
