I have 2012 F150 with 5.0. I got v series muffler and lost back pressure. I changed to super40 flow master now the back pressure pushes your head back when you step on it. Awesome. I went 3" straight after cat. Remove resonator. Just muffler and kept stock chrome tail pipe. No Drone. Pretty nice sound. Gets loud like American muscle when you floor it. But normal driving it quietens down after you get past 3rd gear.

Did you get rid of the resonator. Because I have super 40 with my cat still but no resonator and it sounds loud. But super 40 is the muffler that comes painted black from Flow master. Is the one that truly sounds muscle not the one with silver case.
