Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it!

I have a white 2012 HD and I put flowmaster super 40 series on mine. I love the way my truck sounds. Has a really deep and throaty sound to it. Yes it is possible to get the pipes to come out howevery you want them. I kept mine coming out in the same orientation that the truck came with because i liked the look of it but you can have 2 come out each side.

My muffler is not obnoxiously loud and when driving normal is a little louder than stock but definatly more aggressive sounding. Man when you step on the gas though it really sounds mean. It sounds like Im running straight pipes. Love my exhaust set up currently. Wanted Borla but couldnt justify the huge price difference and glad i didnt waste that extra money.

Flowmaster American Thunder, 3" straight tips. Good throaty sound under throttle, highway speed drones on a bit though.

I chose an MBRP T409 stainless steel catback exhaust system with a single side exit, which nearly resembles stock but provides a deep rumble at idle and a roar when I get on it. MBRP gave me a decent sound for about 200 bones less than Flow, Borla, Magna and other, more established manufacturers. I wanted just enough sound to bring a smile to my face but I don't need to scare children three blocks away. I could care less about the power gains but the seat of the pants dyno says it added a little bottom end. Here's a video of a nearly identical truck and exhaust I found on youtube:

Yes, and with the Extang Solid-fold Tonneau cover, Truxedo Tonneaumate and the MBRP exhaust I've purchased in the last month, Autoanything has walked away with all of my fun money for the rest of the year!

they advertise that when at cruising speeds the cabin noise is very minimal.... regardless its nice to know that when the wife is talking too much you just have to crack the throttle... lol... good luck with your choice...
