I have an 02 F150 with the 4.6 in it- back in May I put on a Thrush glasspack. It's quiet for my liking but I think the tone is pretty amazing. It's pretty rare that I notice the drone.

I would really like to hear what it would sound like if I threw on headers, high flow cats, and dual glass packs. It'd probably be well over $1500 in parts and labor though, money better spent elsewhere.

I kept the single exhaust setup but changed all pipes to 3" and installed a free flow Magnaflow. It's too loud at highway speeds so now I'm getting a bigger - and quieter - Spintech. Will post a sound vid soon.

07 Supercab XLT 4x4 with 5.4, running true dual dynomax bullets and a set of Hi flow magnaflow cats, the cats really opened up the sound of the truck
