Ford had a problem with exiting the exhaust before the tire. It was turning the rims green. Just keep that in mind.

2007 5.4 Saleen Edelbrock SIDO. Low rumble at idle that opens up nicely but not too obnoxious. Low drone at highway speeds. Has more of a racecar like sound at WOT (IMO).

04 5.4L Screw with Magnaflow cat-back. Nice sounding outside and minimal noise inside.

2002 supercab 4.6 and I got a Flowmaster original 40 muffler SIDO catback system with custom bent 2.5 inch tubes splitting and exiting on either side of trailer hitch straight out the back. I have noticed quicker response due to a muffler that's 1/3 the size of the stock. It has a nice rumble at idle, very nice on a cold day when you first start it, once it warms up its a little quieter for some reason, then the sweet spots for soud are a nice interior resonance at 1800-1950rpms, 2400-2800rpms, 3000-3400rpms, then sounds like a race car/ sports car after that. Very quet at 2050-2400 but maybe that's just cuz I'm inside of it but its less of a truck sound and more of a racecar after 3400 rpms. It pops like a race car though when its warm and damn does that sound good, I just wish the tones were as loud as the popping. I'm planning to take out my rear cats to add more sound and power but will need a CAI to balance the amount of air exiting

i wanted exhaust, so i ordered the flowmaster 40 series cat back. 2008 superlong cab w/ 29 ft. bed & 5.4 3V not bad!!
but, what you didn't list was MAC. i've owned many mustangs all with MAC, and installed on many cars. that is the only exhaust i would want, but they jacked me around for over 2 months, and still never shipped anything out.
