Emergency POV Lights
#11
Derek from Pa
I'm running two mini phantoms stacked off my rear view mirror. In Pa we can only run blue but it gets the job done. I'm looking into a strobe kit right now as well. If I find a set up I like I'll pass it along.

Keep in mind, Whelen Engineering is the only Emergency Vehicle Lighting Manufacturer who designs and builds all products in the United States. All of the little companies talked about in this thread (speed tech, etc) are all importers of Chinese products who sell them cheap because they don't have to pay for the overhead that we do. We have 1,500 employees between two factories (New Hampshire & Connecticut) and take pride in the fact that we don't support the Chinese and Taiwanese.
So if you're ever in the market for quality POV lights, please contact a Whelen distributor. American products look great in American Trucks!

Superbrightleds makes a few good red/blue light heads for a good price. Not sure if they are into the solids yet.
Here is what I had in my ranger when I was an officer at my FD. I used a lightbar because I got it free lol...

My Recommendation
My Dad has this in his truck.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06X9NWFC1/ref=mp_s_a_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503272343&sr=8-1-spell&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=wacad e&th=1&psc=1
The light slides down the brackets, what my Dad did is just put some star washers on and now it is fine.
