Edge Jerking
I put my edge in and immediately put it on level 3.
Floored it from a stop and it reved all the way up to about 5500 and then jerked the truck real bad, not before slipping a little though...Did this 2 times in a row...I laid off it and tried it again and it went away, only running a 9.08 on level 3 though! WHY???
Why would it slip so bad? Was the transmission learning? Any ideas why my truck would still be so slow?

91 Octane. Level 3. Volant CAI is all I have done to it. I didnt touch the "Create a Custom Tune thing"
The first time i did touch the "Create a custom" but i left everything the same....After it jerked the 2nd time i re-did it and made sure i left it at "no" when the create option came up...5500 seems really high, cause the engine is revving but there is really no power behind it anymore...(i can tell its no long pulling hard)
So I should lower the rpm to what? 5000? Should i use the create a custom option thing?

Yes. Bill warned me as well as to not run the level 3 on the Gryphon because of the CAI. I have not used any of those canned tunes since I have the Livewire VMP tunes running and am getting ready to load up and try the PHP tunes.
My highest shift point is 5200 with my limiter set at 5300. I think..it's been a while since i really looked into my settings tough. The truck is having some audio work done to it so I cannot check right now, but if you need me to I will look into it.

To fix that though you could bump your WOT Fuel% up right? You could also kick the timing down a little. I had trouble with mine making a pinging noise the first time I ran the programmer but I changes about 3 things so I think its fixed now.

[quote=BayouSupercrew;194791]Because most of the time its not the tuners fault, its the users....and lack of research. QUOTE
A good example is the over aggressive shift pressure....or the sky high shift points.
Oh yeah....been tuning Fords long before even most of the bigger names out there
