Default Ecoboost - Hearthrob exhaust?

I just got my 2013 ecoboost and Im looking to do a few tweaks on it try and maximize the fuel efficiency. Im not to concerned about horse power considering I really don't tow anything but I do travel quite bit.

I've been reading that before doing any type of intake or tuning its probably best to start with the exhaust. So I wanted to get some opinions on the heartthrob exhaust or any other that achieve what im after that's not to expensive and or easy to put on.

Thanks.

Of all the exhausts I've heard I like the Full Race best. Resonated or un-resonated both sound terrific.

Thanks. I will look into this one. Did you notice better mpg?

I did a search on the exhaust sticky for heartthrob and a lot of people recommend them.

Ive got the stainless works s-tube single cat back exhaust. I love the sound. It sounds more like a stock V8 and doesn't have the rice burner sound that you would think.

Exhaust wont really help your gas mpg, nor a CAI. A tuner will depending on the tune but only 1-2 mpg and only IF you keep your foot out of it. Which is hard to do on a tuned ecoboost.

If looking specifically for pure mpg gains that is....

I will take the 1-2mpgs but the more I read on this forum and the more I watch youtube videos I'm really starting to fall in love with the sound of some of these exhaust and the feeling of making some personal mods to make this truck my own.

I appreciate all the sugestions. I think its time to start ordering.

Oh I hear that. I love how my Ecoboost sounds personally, just perfect for me. Not too loud but def not stock either.

I have my truck with couple short videos on youtube under MasterFranchi with the Stainless Works offroad downpipe and S tube muffler with a few videos I've taken of it from my phone and I've had 3 random people come up to me at different shows over past year and asked if I had the bright blue ecoboost F 150 on youtube with the SW exhaust and where the truck was so they could hear it in person.

Are you running any engine mods with that exhaust?

Airaid intake, Wagner intercooler, custom 93 octane tune, SW offroad downpipes to S tube catback. 375 horses to the wheels and 552 torque at last dyno I had it on.
