Easy Speaker upgrade well worth it!

I was very happy with the pioneers. Plus all 4 and the wiring adapters only cost me $110. Here's a link for the speakers and adapters. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014Z7...ob_neva_mobile

I'm very happy with them still. I got some alpine silk dome tweeters that are also pretty solid for the $45 I spent on the pair. The Kenwood ksc-sw11 is decent, but definitely not a replacement if you're looking for actual 10" or 12" sound. It's not as deep as what I would like, but definitely worth the $140. I am super happy with the components I have in my speaker upgrade for under $300. I would do it all over again if given the chance, unless someone can figure out how to mount a sub behind the rear seat. I am thinking about adding an amp to run the tweeters and 6x8's off, but at this point it's doubtful.

I'm going to be putting in the Kicker Hideaway sub and was looking at getting the Infinity Reference speakers. With your Kenwood powered sub, did you just hook it up off the speaker wires?

Does the Bluetooth use the same speakers as the radio/CD on 2014 F150? The reason I ask is because I have a hearing loss issue in the same range as most peoples voice so the speakers sound low quality when talking on the phone thru Bluetooth and was thinking of upgrading to better quality speakers, hoping that would improve the sound quality and clarity.

I ran it to the rear speakers. You don't need to run the wire into the door. You can tap into them in the pillar that has the seatbelts for the driver and passenger in them. The speaker wire runs into a separate group of wires that you can tell go into the door. If your truck is anything like mine, the two speaker wire were twisted together separate from the rest of the wiring that goes into the door.
Speaker wire colors were as follows:
LR green/white + brown/yellow-
RR brown/white+ brown/blue -

I would image they use the same speakers. As far as I can tell they do. Not sure that upgrading them will help though. There are some pretty kick a** bluetooth hearing aids out there though. I work in the tech field and have a few customers that highly recommend these bad boys. They have gotten wayyyyy better than what I remember seeing on my Grandpa as a kid. https://www.beltone.com/hearing-aids/beltone-first.aspx

How hard is it to wire in an amp to the factory system? I've done it before but not for a number of years and on a lot less complicated vehicles. I'm going to be replacing my speakers soon, and would love to get the most out of them but I really don't want to pay someone to do the amp install unless it's a total pain the ***.

I have the sony sub under the back seat(total waste of floor space) and want to get it out of there. I went to a local car shop wanting a kicker hideaway behind the rear seat the but they said it needed new wires ,amp and wanted $1500.
I just want to move move it off the floor, not spend $1500 for floor space
