Talking Easiest Mod

What do you think the best modification to do on a '98 F150? I like making my cars/trucks my own, making them a little unique, but don't want to spend a ton of money, or really screw up the way the truck drives.

Thanks!

I have 400.00 in all of my "performance" mods... My Edge tuner I bought used @ 250.00 (worth every penny), my exhaust I bought a magnaflow off ebay at 60bux and had it installed for 40bux. I put in a K&N drop in for 30-40 bux... My 4.6L drives like a 5.4 now... Good luck to you!!

well of you are wanting to dress it up in styling, you can always acetone you emblems for about 7 bucks. it just takes acetone, q-tips and a little time to make your emblens all chrome. It adds a nice look for almost nothing.

smoke the tail lights, i did that to mine and left the reverse lights white looks pretty good, also the bed light. you can buy the paint at any auto store. Its like $20.

Thumbs up

yeah it sure is. You want to take the tail lights copletely out, and wash them off, windex works fine. Make sure you try not to get any moisture inside th lights. You will want to make sure you take your time with every coat. Letting it dry evey time so that you dont get runs in the paint. I think i had 4 or 5 coats. That was a year ago and they still looking great today. I taped out the reverse lights and the white really stands out on the black. If you mess up take a small amount of paint thinner to them and make sure you was it off agin getting off all of the thinner. Oh and to get them shining after you detail your truck go ahead and use a little Turtle Wax black polish on em and buff them out.
