Custom Exhaust - 2013 EcoBoost SCAB
Hey guys, just thought I would start a thread here.
Lets see the aftermarket exhaust systems out there for the ecoboosts!
I will go first
I have a 2013 EcoBoost super crew. running on 20's with chrome package and its the XLT model (canadian Model)
I removed my stock exhaust yesterday including the resonator. I bought a Flow Master super 10 series muffler from www.jeggs.com for 69.99$. Went down to my local muffler shop today and got them to weld a 3 inch pipe from my cats back to my muffler and 3 inch pipe out and used my stock chrome tip to finish things off.
Here is a video to check it out. Let me know what you think. I have attached a second video just showing what under the truck looks like and the work thats done. Any questions feel free to ask.

Flwomasters have no negative effect on the ecoboost. You get positive gains when swapping out your stock system on the EcoBoost. The stock system restricts air flow so much, once its gone it can breath and exhaust all that air with no problems. thats why you can hear the turbos so much louder now.
The super 10 series I have on there is the closest thing to open headers you can get without actually doing it. :P just a tiny muffler on there.

I ordered some 3 inch pipe from jegs and a turn down tip, I modified the stock coupler to actually have a 3 inch hole and welded it to the pipe I ordered, bolted it up and have a straight piped truck dumped before rear axle for about 50 bucks and an hours work. cheapest and best solution performance wise and sounds amazing, especially with my 3 inch y pipe
