Default Covers? Too many to decide.

So, been on the Tonneau Cover website and there are way too many to decide. What am I missing? Looking at retractable covers and there are 7 manufacturers? Thoughts?

Search: " Poll what tonneau cover do you have?" There's several results and lots of opinions. Hope this helps.

Just my opinion regarding hard retractable covers:

Best if security is a concern - RollNLock A-Series (or RollNLock M-Series)
Covers likely to give you the least amount of problems - RetraxPro or RetraxPro MX.
Covers with the best warranty - RetraxPro or RetraxPro MX (limited lifetime), Truck Gear by LINE-X Hard Retractable Cover (same cover as Truck Covers USA but with a lifetime warranty)

Very good covers other than the ones mentioned above:

Truck Covers USA, Pace Edwards Full Metal Jack Rabbit

Good, but not great:
RetraxOne, Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit

Not so great:
Bak RollBak

Went with Undercover Elite LX painted to match the truck - one piece cover.

That's a good (and new) cover also! The BOLT brand lock is a nice touch.

The Elite was not mentioned in my original post because it's not a retractable cover.

I love the retrax pro, my 3rd one! Pricey tho, almost $1800.

All of the retractable covers are rather expensive.

I agree that retractable covers are pricey but if you really want one, I suggest Retrax or RollNLock. I currently have the Undercover Flex. It's a hard folding cover similar to Bak. I got it from this shop- Truck Tonneau Cover|4WO. What I like about this cover is that it has rubber seals and tubes that help keep the bed dry during rainy days.

Like any product, you can find them offered on many sites, some with product reviews. Make lists of pros and cons and see how they match to your needs.

Default Bakflip fibermax, or undercover flex. I can't decide

I have spent the last 3 weeks looking at all of the options out there and I have narrowed it down to these two, the bakflip fiber max, and the undercover flex. I have heard from a local dealer that there is a problem with the Bakflips leaking and he is recommending the undercover flex. My only problem is I like the way the bakflip fiber max rest against the cab and doesn't have a speed limit with fully open. Has anyone else had a problem with the latest bakflips leaking?
