I took my K&N CAI off and made up a Gotts Mod. I already have seen an increase in mileage. I don't notice a change in how the truck runs or accelerates though.

I am running a Volant Cold Air Intake for about the last 30,000 miles and love it. I can't really say that I noticed a huge performance gain or my gas mileage increased greatly, but it works well and looks really nice.....

I was thinking of making my own... On the stock intake is it s good idea just to take the cover off the filter? Or does that suck in too much hot air?

Hey everyone,
We are having an exclusive sale on K&N intakes right now!
I do not believe that K&N makes a dry filter for the F-150. Just make sure you oil it lightly!
