Well, my buddy bought one becuase it looked good, my dad bought one because he travels on the highway constantly, (has 65k miles on his late 06) and wants to keep his windshield cleaner...Do they really work?

Biggest gain I have found is eliminating stone chips to the hood and that ugly paint peel that eventually happens to the front curl hood edge. No major wind force to help it along.

To a point....they do their best work protecting the leading edge of the hood.
