Default Clazzio Seat Cover Wearing Poorly

I did a lot of reading on these forums about the seat covers and finally ordered them last November. It took a while to get my custom order (about 14 weeks) but once I got them I was thrilled with them. For the price I thought the look and fit was great. And the installation wasn't as difficult as I was expecting from everything I had read.

The only problem is that I have had them only for about 5 months now and the drivers seat material at the edge seam where I slide in and out is almost worn through. There is no problem with the stitching itself but the vinyl material where it is raised at the seam is wearing out quickly.

Has anyone else with these covers had any problems like this? Has anyone ever received any warranty coverage on these covers? I emailed Spencer at TruckLeather.com about it yesterday and haven't gotten a response.

You do know that vinyl is a fancy name for plastic right? No? Now you do.

Best of luck.

Gee, thanks for sharing your vast knowledge of materials science. Aside from the general enlightenment of all who read this forum, did you have a point?

I have had my Clazzio seat covers for about a year now. I have had no issues with wear yet and mine are in a daily driver. Have your tried reaching out to Clazzio. When I first bought mine and had a hard time with fit on one of the pieces. I called their customer service and they were great asked me to take a few measurements and admitted they must have stitched the material to tight. Long story short the mailed me a replacement for the piece I had it in 3 days and they didn't even ask for the other piece back.

Point being you get what you pay for, Clazzio covers are garbage. If you want quality buy katzkin.

Your welcome.

How many sets have you had? How long did yours last? What kinds of problems did you have with them?

Katzkin made 95,000 miles on my last car before any unusual wear and most of it was my fault for not removing my key ring from my belt loop, never had Clazzio because others have complained about them.
