Ok so im wanting to do a custom exhaust. I want loud, but I dont want popping. So I guess loud and deep... what type of muffler should I get? I have a 2006 f150 5.4 fx4

Borla. Always my recommendation. Low deep and throaty.

Flowmaster Super 44's might be a good choice for you. You could experience a little bit of popping on cold starts and possibly on decel until the computer adjusts to the scavenging effect and flow of the muffler, but it should be pretty close to meeting your requirements.
