Can you use a Edge/Gryphon as a gauge only on another car?
I have a 2005 F-150 and just got my Gryphon tuner. Bill and Corey Rock!

I also own a 2007 Dodge Charger.
Here is what I was thinking. I saw a product called Dashhawk for cars with the ODBII port. It looks like a repackaged Edge. It doesnt offer a tune, just gauges. It is expensive and I am broke, so I am hoping my idea will work.
As long as I returned my Gryphon to the stock tune, and changed the tire size, couldnt I move it to my charger and use it as a gauge only device, similar to the Dashhawk? I only want to do a 0-60 run and a 1/4 mile run. The core product - Edge was made to connect to the diag port on many cars and offer the ability to tune them. I really think it will work. What do you all think?
I emailed Bill and Corey and I am sure they will response soon (they are moving into a new office) but I'm bored...watching the Front Door...waiting for the Big Brown truck to drop off my AF1 CAI.

So you want to use the edge in your Charger??? Is that right?
I dont think it will work, Because the edge is made for a specific truck/year.
But idk it may work....
I know i wouldnt do it, just for the fact i wouldnt want to mess up MY 2007 Charger
