Default Bullbar install - Need help/advice

So I decided to install a chrome finish bull bar on my 2012 XLT Crew Cab.
Ordered it online and it arrived...I was all excited.

I saw the install video online, thinking its an easy install.
Both my truck model and the bull bar looks exactly like what is shown in the video.

I have uploaded few images for comparison between the tow hook slot in the video vs what is on my truck.

Looking for some guidance on how to proceed.
Please help.

Thanks in advance..

Close up of my truck showing the black plastic cover. I feel the tow hook slots are under the plastic cover.

No visible access to tow hook slot on the front side.

Photo from ChuxTruck showing the tow hook on the front side.

You need the 4x4 front valence for open holes, that or cut out holes where the frame horns are and tow hooks/bullbar would be mounted. My truck is also 4x2 so I had to buy the hooks and valence.

Difference before and after.

You would recommend to get this done professionally, correct?
No home grown hack job with a box cutter...

If you're looking to do it yourself and cheaply, I see no reason why you couldn't measure and drill out with a holesaw. Would give you a nice round cut. You may even prefer the look without the valence (never seen my truck without it so I wouldn't know) and leave it off.

If you decide to try to cut the plastic yourself, buy an electric Multi-tool and you can create a perfect cut. They cost $20 to $35 at Harbor Freight (not Black & Decker though).

Box cutter won't get it, plastic is too thick. I figured since the holes are prominent up front I decided to get the 4x4 valance from Ford, didn't want to mess up her pretty face.
